The Badlands

You can't just zoom past Badlands NP without driving through! (Especially since it parallels the interstate so you don't have to backtrack). We had forgotten (from our 2008 trip) how GREAT the BADlands are! We are sooo glad we took this detour! :)

One of those National Parks where you get "a lot of bang for your buck"...the drive is only 34 Miles and it is jam-packed with non-stop breathtaking views at every turn! (Kind of like the Needles Hwy in the Black Hills)...you don't dare look down even for a second! God just keeps taking your breath away!!
