Last visit with Anissa's Buerge cousins (she tried to see as many of them as possible throughout Canada & Alaska). What a special summer it's been of reconnecting with cousins she hasn't seen in some cases for decades!!! Since then we lost our grandma, 3 of our dads, and one of our cousins (the sister to the 2 in this pic). It has been a sweet time of hugging, healing, sharing & caring!
We are praising God that her cousin on the left survived & recovered from his dirt bike accident (earlier this summer). He just got home from the hospital a couple weeks ago, and we've been praying for him throughout this trip, so it was such a blessing to see him up & walking and that the surgeons did such a great job on repairing his face:
We rowed out to the middle of the lake across from her cousin's house and had a refreshing dip!
