Glaciers Galore!!!

The drive into Hyder, AK is breathtaking!! It was cloudy going in, but crystal clear blue skies the next day on the way out! 

Bear Glacier:

We have no idea how the glacier got its name! ;}

Hundreds of waterfalls trickled down the mountainside, as they gushed & spilled down from the hanging glaciers at the top. 

We drove up a long gravel road to see Salmon Glacier. We finally reached the toe of the glacier:

 We were able to view this portion of the glacier:

But unfortunately the top was completely clouded over so we didn't get the vista overview. :(

Even more unfortunate was that we got our 3rd flat tire. :(  :(  :(  No more gravel roads for us this trip. Period.
