Anissa's dad's baby sister and her "Oregon cousin" that graduated in the same class as her (she always thought it was fun to have a cousin the same age out in OR...they were really close in HS). Another fun note: they lived down the hall from each other in the same condo in Anchirage for one year. Anissa's aunt lived in the Yukon for years (after Oregon) but now lives in the Valley (Palmer/Wasila) near her cousin (to be closer to grandkids).
We had such special visits with this bunch throughout the summer....hard to say the final goodby as we will not be "passing thru" anymore. The goodbyes are NOT the fun part of this trip! :( The time in Alaska went soo fast, but we are thankful for all the warm memories with family!!
