Cousins are a HUGE Blessing!

We had another special visit with Anissa's cousin's family in British Colombia. It's been so neat for Anissa to reconnect with her Buerge cousins now that they are all grown up parents with kids! :)
As always, Jonas & Alea had so much fun getting to know their 2nd cousins!
Jumping on the trampoline...
Swimming...
Arm knitting infinity scarves:
And 3:00 Ice Cream under the trampoline! ;)
Jonas made a new friend:
Then we got a surprise visit from another cousin (brother to the cousin we were staying with):
She was sooo happy because now she got to give IOU hugs to all 5 of her cousins (siblings) whose dad (Anissa's uncle) had died a year ago and she wasn't able to make it to the funeral in the Yukon. Anissa also missed her grandmother's funeral last fall in Oregon that some of these cousins had been  to, so this trip has been part of the cycle of healing for her. Each visit with her cousins has been so meaningful, and the length/depth of sharing has actually been more than what she would've gotten at either of the funerals. So it's been very "golden" indeed! (Referring to an earlier post at the beginning of this trip about us heading north in search of gold--our valuable times with family & friends).
All the 2nd cousins:
