Beachcombing in Seward

How did Jonas get out there???
There was a shallow gravel bar covered with water he waded across!
So grateful for a warm sunny day to enjoy Beautiful Ressurection Bay!!!
Don't you wish you lived in one of these beach houses?
That evening we did a hike to an outer beach at low tide...
We saw a partial rainbow! :)
There were tons of jelly fish washed up everywhere!
Watching the ground in front of us disappear right before our eyes as the tide comes in:
If you look at the white dot in the trees above Joey & Alea, that's a bald eagle.
He was calling to his friend in the picture below (look for another white dot):
To get to the beach we had to cross a bridge where lots of salmon were spawning:
"Bear Beating Sticks"
It was getting somewhat dark on the way back (now that it's towards the end of summer), the trail was through a thick forest lined with berries and there were signs saying bears use the trail to go feed on the spawning salmon. We thought it was best to be prepared ;) lol
