Denali=The High One

The tallest peak in North America:

We finally got some good shots of Mt McKinley! We had only seen it briefly from the road a couple of times the whole summer, but weren't able to pull over at a good vantage point until today. In the summer it is very rare to see it (because it makes its own weather) and only shows itself in entirety an average of 2-3 times a month. So this was a special treat indeed! (Of course when we were in Denali National Park, we didn't see it at all, which was a huge bummer, but we expected that). You've gotta take the mountain when you can get it. ;)
