Camping on the Homer Spit

You just can't beat an $8 campsite on the beach!! 

We spent 3 nights on the Spit.

The kids LOVED having the ocean right outside their "back door"!

The kids like to play "chicken" with the waves...stand there until the very last minute and jump back right before the wave touches you.

It was hard to get them to come to bed at night...the ocean just calls to you & mesmerizes you. 

One night we even went for "one last stroll" and ended up being out there for an hour! The wind had died down and it was so pleasant! Jonas was already in his pajamas, but that didn't stop him!

We found 6 sea urchins!!
