Lego Land

A Lego lover's dream! [We backtracked to San Diego for 3 days to finish up California.] They had all the same attractions as any usual theme park: rides, shows, character meet & greets, 4-D movies, etc. But our favorite part was, you guessed it, the Legos! There were Lego statues/structures everywhere!!! It was so neat to see all the creative things made out of Legos! The most amazing of all was Miniland USA: whole cities made out of Legos, with such accurate life-like details! They even had moving boats, cars, people, sounds (music, traffic, laughter), etc. I can't imagine the months of labor spent building San Francisco, NYC, Washington DC, New Orleans, Las Vegas, New England Harbor, & various scenes from Star Wars. (Even more amazing they had to create each one twice, because they have the exact same thing in Legoland Fla). There was also Lego Hall of Fame (with busts of famous people), Star Wars Hall of Fame, Lego Safari (with African animals), a Fairy Tale boat ride, Super Heroes, the list goes on & on!!! We're talking a whole different kind of construction to build this theme park!!! :)
