Joshua Tree Nat Park
"I speak for the trees", Dr. Seuss, The Lorax. The Joshua trees are the ones that look like one of his illustrations. They are actually in the aguava family. They can be seen all over the Mojave Desert, so we drove past many on our way to Death Valley. We saw & did many other neat things besides just look at the Joshua Trees in the park: we drove through a monsoon, walked to an oasis, strolled through a cactus garden, climbed on some really cool rocks, chased lizards, etc. Joey has always had a thing for Joshua Trees, but Anissa thinks the park should be better known for its amazing rock features....there's so many outcroppings that just jet up out of the ground in fascinating formations! Again, only our Creator could lay out such unique designs!
