Mt St Helens

At the last minute we left the coast and bee-lined it to see this amazing volcano. It has changed soo much since Joey & I saw it back in 1996. Between 2004-2008 new lava flows built a whole new dome inside the crater. God gave us such a treat...when we first got to the observation site the mt was completely shrouded over. We went to the bathroom and when we came back out God drew back the curtain and allowed us to view the mt for 3 min, then we got swallowed up by fog. What a blessing to have seen a glimpse! We are soo grateful!!!
