Connecting with Cousins

Had a SUPER special visit with Anissa's cousin's family (on the Buerge side) visiting the farm they are homesteading in British Colombia! They have such a neat family!

It was soooo great to reconnect after all these years and stay up late sharing from the heart! 

The kids really bonded with their second cousins and didn't want to leave!

It was a special treat Jonas & Alea to get to ride horses...

Hold baby kittens....

Feed the baby lamb...

Collect frogs & toads from the pond...

And just exploring the property!

We even got treated to a blacksmith presentation by one of their sons who made us this:

It was such a blessing to be treated to all their healthy, home-grown, organic food: raw milk (including chocolate), homemade cheese (including feta!), butter, yogurt & ice cream, freshly butchered sausage, salad greens, eggs, basil pesto sandwiches, Saskatoon berry & rhubarb cobbler, etc, etc....wish we could eat this good every day! :)
